Link to pictures of Dale's current project, a 34 Lincoln So, in the meantime, he has provided a picture of another project from long ago. This is his first car, built as a teenager growing up in Fallbrook in the mid-sixties. A '29 ford roadster on a 32 frame, he built it from bits and pieces that were fairly cheap and readily available back in those days. The engine is a 371 Pontiac with stock tri-power pulled out of a 58 Bonneville purchased for $15 (the entire car!) Dale drove the car for a couple years in high school and college in Pomona. About his 2nd or 3rd year of college, Dale sold the roadster for about $900! Now, like a lot of us, he regrets the decision. Whenever he sees a similar car, he searches closely for any clues that it might be his old car. He has one request for club members: If you see a car like this (black license plate # TWE 828) please let Dale know ASAP...he might like to buy it back.
