55 Chevy

Jack has been a long time Tri-5 Chevy fan.  

In his own words,

"In 1959, I purchased my original 55 Chevy while I was a junior in high school.  I had a friend down the street named Judy Morrison, one of my best friends.  Judy and I used to hang out in the old 55 and later even had some dates.  Later, I sold the car and bought a 1961 Corvair.  Judy and I, still friends, dated in that car also.  

As time went on I realized that my best friend was the one that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with, so in June 16, 1962, we were married.  We have two kids and in June 2002, we will celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary..

In March of 1988, I found the 55 that we have today.  When we brought it home, Judy thought it was a wreck, and she was right!  We worked and spent some money knowing that it would take some time to rebuild.

Today, I have two joys in my life, my wonderful wife and the 55 Chevy.  I actually have more than two joys in my life.  We have two wonderful children and two grandchildren, and are blessed with many friends."

Today, the finished 55 looks and sounds outstanding where ever it goes.
